Design and construction - SuSe 20

In more than 10 subjects, this semester the HFT Stuttgart starts to work on topics of the Solar Decathlon Europe 2021, including design, structural engineering, interior design, urban mobility, building services engineering and many more. The good cooperation of these different disciplines is inevitable in order to create a well thought-out, comprehensive project. Let us coLLab!

In the elective subject SDE Design and Construction, students of the Master of Architecture and Bachelor of KlimaEngineering work together on the further development of the design. The designs created in the MAKE project in the last semester serve as the basis for this. In this subject, the findings from the other subjects taking place this semester flow together and are combined in the best possible draft.

The elective course is divided into three expert groups. There are those responsible for the architectural design, the building construction and the integration of building services engineering. These expert groups maintain contact with the subjects that also deal with the topics, provide these subjects with information and advice and integrate the results into the design.

The aim of the subject is to produce a well thought-out draft in which all aspects worked on during this semester are taken into account so that it can then be transferred to the implementation planning.
